Three Phase 100/160 A - 70/112 kVA
Usually 100 (A) and 160 (A) connections are given directly from an installed neighboring
CEB Feeder Pillar. If a Feeder Pillar is not available in the surrounding area or if it is not
possible to install a new Feeder Pillar in the relevant area, a new Substation may have to be installed
in the consumer premises.

Above 112 kVA and upto 2 MVA
If the power requirement is more than 112 kVA, a new substation (Transformer, Ring Main
Unit, Breakers, MV Panels as required etc.) has to be installed in the customer premises to provide the requested
power supply. The Substation room has to be built by the applicant at applicant’s cost under the supervision of CEB as per the design given by CEB. The space requirement for this type
of a substation is around 4 m x 4 m. The cost of other equipment installation will be cost sharing basis by the Applicant and CEB based on the power requirement.

If the power requirement is more than 2 MVA, a Radial Feeder (a direct cable from nearest
Substation) will be laid to provide the requested power supply. A Radial type Panel
substation will be installed to provide the requested power supply.
The Substation room
has to be built by the applicant at applicant’s cost under the supervision of CEB as per the
design given by CEB. The space requirement for this type of a Panel substation is around 4 m x 10 m. The cost of other equipment and cables will be cost sharing basis by the Applicant and CEB based on the power requirement.
